immerzive film projection
The Unicum House is proud to present an exciting new attraction: a special 270° ever-changing film projection showing the legendary history of the Zwack family, its iconic moments and unforgettable advertisements.
This innovative technology, a first in the culture of Hungarian beverage production, has the peculiarity of transporting the viewer into another world with its intense expressiveness. In 20 minutes, the film takes you on a unique journey into the family's 200-year history and conveys the inimitable heritage of the Zwack brand.
Guided tour of the old distillery and cellar
On our regular guided tours you will also have the opportunity to visit the old distillery building and the Unicum cellar maze.
Unicum has been made exclusively here since 1892, and although the building was rebuilt after the Second World War, it looks like it did in the old days, having been restored from 20th century photographs and plans.
In the distillery we will tell you about the process of making Unicum, and you will also be introduced to some herbs and spices that might even be part of the secret recipe for Unicum.
And in our Cellar Maze you can taste Unicum and Unicum Plum straight from the cask, and we will also tell you about other Unicum specialities!
Visit a museum exhibition
During your visit you will also be able to visit our museum area, where our display cases tell the story of the Zwack family through the generations. Next to the relics displayed in the display cases, you can scan a QR code to access a description, video or additional gallery of images. After viewing Central Europe's largest collection of miniature bottles, you can take a photo with our selfie machine in a virtual background reminiscent of the brand, making your visit even more memorable!
With our interactive tools, you can dive deeper into the events of the past years, with our audio guide system you can listen to the whole story, and with buttons next to our showcases, you can listen to different tunes that will take you back to different eras.
With our touchscreen gaming column, you can, among other things, try to puzzle out a piece of Unicum's secret recipe, and take a seat at the desk of WWII survivor János Zwack to listen to more stories from members of the Zwack family on the telephone.
Poetry and quiz game
During your visit you will have the chance to take part in our quiz and poetry game with exciting prizes - all in the spirit of Unicum House.
During the quiz games, you will have to answer questions that are answered in the ever-changing projection and during the cellar tour.
And in the poem game, you have to find the letters hidden in the museum. The clues in the poems will help you find them - so you can win even more rewards!
