Do I have to book in advance to visit?

The visit of the House of Unicum consists three parts: short film of the Zwack family history, guided tour to the old distillery and cellar with tastings, and museum visit individually or with audio guide.

The tours start in English from Monday to Friday at 11:30, 15:00. On Saturday at 10:45, 14:00, Premium tours start in English from Monday to Saturday at 15:45.

We strongly recommend to book in advance. Therefore you can make sure that tours are not full, we are open, and ask for a different language than English.

How much time does the whole program take?

The program lasts approximately an hour.

I would like to organise a visit for a group. What should I do?

For groups of 15 or above we offer reduced-price ticket and a guided tour for the exhibition. In this case, please book your visit minimum 2 days before the visit.

Can children and teens under 18 visit the museum?

Yes, they can. Children to 12 can get in for free, from 12-18 they can enter with a student ticket (1650 HUF) that does not include tasting. We do not receive student groups from primary schools.

Where can I park nearby?

You can park on-street in front of the Unicum House or on the nearby streets for a 3-hour interval.
On-street parking is charged on weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm. (Ticket machine stands between the Unicum House and the Dandar Spa).

How can I easily get to the Visitors’ Centre?

On foot it is a 5-minute walk from Boráros Square or take tram No. 2 or 24 and get off at the stop Haller Street/Soroksári Street.

Can I enter the Shop if I do not have a ticket?

Of course, the Shop is open from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays.

Is it possible to buy the ticket online or in advance?

Tickets can be purchased on the following website: zwack.jegy.eu

They are valid for one year from the day of the purchase.

Is there a cloakroom?

There is a cloakroom in the visitors’ centre. Please,  bear in mind that our employees cannot accept any liability for the loss of, or damage to, anything left in the cloakroom.

Can I take photos in the Visitors' Centre?

Visitors are allowed to take photos in the Visitors’ Centre.

Where can I smoke?

Smoking is possible only in the designated areas: outside the building in Dandár Street and on the terrace.

Can I pay by card? Do you accept American Express?

You can pay with Hungarian Forint (HUF) and by card as well. We accept those American Express cards that do NOT have PayPass function.

Do you accept Budapest Card?

Yes, we do. We offer you a 20% discount from the full-priced museum ticket.

Do you accept Hungary Card?

Yes, we do.  The discount can only be used for the standard tour.

Is there an ATM machine in the Unicum House?

The nearest ATM  is in Street Haller.

Do you accept member cards for visitors with disabilities?

Yes, you can order both Zwack products and also products distributed by the Zwack company.

What are the Visitors' Centre ticket prices?

Prices in 2024:
adult ticket: 3300 HUF/person
group/pensioner ticket: 2900 HUF/person
student ticket (under 18, without tasting): 1650 HUF/person
Premium ticket: 4700 HUF/person

Is food or non-alcoholic beverage provided at the premises of the House of Unicum?

Yes, there is a snack machine available at the premises of House of Unicum. 

Can I purchase vouchers?

Vouchers can be purchased on the spot ( 1095 Budapest, Dandár utca 1.)
