At the Internation Exhibition held in London in 1912, the Zwack Company received extensive recognition testified by the two gold medals on the top shelf.
The laboratory scene marked 3 on the middle shelf is from the 1900 Calendar of the Pesti Hirlap (Newspaper of Pest). The picture shows distillation apparatus and a round alembic in the shape of an Unicum bottle, marked 4, for processing herbs.
The photograph marked 1 on the lower shelf shows the customary means of transportation in the early 1900’s: horse drawn carriages. Also, you can see the accounts ledger for 1910 marked 2, including as “fuel” the price of oats! The ceramic bottle next to it was specially made for the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris.
